I decided to check out the USA' this weekend.
I am doing a lot better right now. The legs are now "fully funtional" (that's a lie) - but I am able to walk
slowly...atleast from one Black Jack Table to the other - lol
So I hope to see some of you guys at the show. I will be there as of Friday and am excited to see who is
going to be our new Champion (but in the end, they are all Champions!)

I just finished shooting some Video with Markus Reinhardt the other day.
We shot some great stuff. showing me going thru my first Hamstring Workout as well as
torturing myself, trying to bend my knee to reach a 90 degree angle in order to
speed up the recovery process.
So we decided to post some NEW VIDEO clips in my PRIVATE ROOM for
you guys to see how it went and as well as get a feel of what I have to go thru right now, while undergoing
the therapy (6 hours a day!) in order to recover as fast as possible to start hitting it hard again...
Check it out - JP is coming back...you can count on that !

Hi Guys - Sorry for the delay in my updates.
I am doing fine and feeling better each day.
The Rehab Sessions for my Knee and Quad have already started. I am getting
ready to film the next segment on my "Recovery Video" in the next couple of days.
Have you guys seen the latest FLEX yet? - They put up a Photo report on the accident! - Check it out (Beware! - the first picture might be a Shocker! -LOL)
Anyway, I added some old pics to my PRIVATE ROOM to show you
guys what J.P looks like during his off-season (MASSIVE!) - Also added my "MONSTER DIET PLAN" to
it (txt.file) -

(Latest News from Markus Reinhardt)
Well, I could not wait until the weekend to see Jean Pierre in the hospital
after his horrible accident.
I decided to get into my Jeep and hit out to the desert yesterday to check on him and of course
bring back some more info on what happend.
However, I need to warn you all about the Images that I posted here! - Some of them look
pretty intense and are nothing for the "weak-hearted".
The first two shots below were taken right after J.P got wheeled out of the gym in Fullerton. He again
did a Squat with 695lbs. - as suddenly both legs collapsed...(Yes, he did think about taking
pictures after this happend - this guy is something else, I tell you)
The next shot is taken a while later. The legs are already showing signs
of swelling and the Pain is getting to a level beyond imagination...
The surgery now has to be done fast, since the quadtricep that is completely
torn might disapear and would then be hard to re-attach properly. This could leave
a permanent hole or disformation to his leg.
J.P however got into Surgery fast and the results you can see in the next pictures...(don't look at this on an
empty stomach!)
J.P is able to get up and walk around with the support of a metal cast around his legs. He of course is
already hitting the gym again.. did you all think he will quit??? (grin)
You know, being out there with him yesterday certainly got me inspired I tell you. He's got the Heart
of a Lion and the HE WILL BE BACK!
As a matter of fact. We are planning to shoot is entire recovery process on Video. As you already know, this
happend while we were actually doing a Training Video for him...so I thought, why stop! - Let's continue,
turn this into something that no Bodybuilder has ever done before...if you are still not inspired by now, you WILL be by the time I release this Video!

Hi Guys - This is Markus Reinhardt, J.P's friend. J.P is currently
in the hospital due to an accident that happend while shooting for FLEX magazine...
No worries - he is Ok and I will make sure to let you all know the details after I get back from my visit to
the hospital these next couple of days.

My latest pics just arrived!
Check the rest of them out in My Member Area. The shots were taken only yesterday
after the first 10 days of my pre-contest diet for the NOC.
I am also getting ready to shoot a Video soon. Markus Reinhardt (Bodybuilder/
DV-Producer) is shooting the Film for me. It is going to be a Video that will
cover the REAL DEAL on Hardcore Dieting and Contest Bodybuilding "JP-STYLE"!

I am training extremely hard these days.
It is about 10 weeks until the Night of the Champions. I am very confident
this time around, you will all see the best J.P ever!

January 8th 2002 (Happy "late" New Year!)
I am about to release my latest VIDEOCLIP! about a Guestposing
that I did a while ago in Japan.
The clip is pretty cool, watch the crowd get excited about me - I guess
having a bodyweight of almost 300lbs. is not an "every day sight" for the
people who living over there...
The clip will be pretty long and requires some patience to download. But
trust me, a must for every JP fan - available soon!

A NEW VIDEO CLIP IN MY M-SECTION!
I decided to take my camera with me to the gym (Golds Gym/Palm Desert).
Check out the new video clip of me in my member section. A full 4 minutes
of BRUTAL HARDCORE! bicep footage --!!!
The clip will take a bid to download (if you are on a dial-up) but is
worth the wait...more video by next week!

I am back from Vegas with some good and bad news.
The good ones first -- I was able to get some pics with a few of my fellow Olympians (see below) as
well as a complete report on the individual athletes from my point of view...read all about it in my
MEMBER section.
The pic above shows me with Nasser el Sonbaty. The shot was taken the day before the
pre-judging. Nasser was very confident about placing higher this year due to his much improved
overall condition.
Kevin Levrone with a friend of mine. He looked good despite the busy schedule with
all his other venues..a new CD (he is a musician!). He was very busy marketing his
CD at the show as well.
Here is FLEX with a friend of mine. I think he took his Retirement serious this time.
The bad news is that I was unable to get behind stage and take some more close ups from
the show. The security was tight and the stage was too far away. Sorry guys. - J.P

I like to first off say Thanks to all you guys out there that joined my member area on my site.
For those of you who didn't - make sure to do it soon as I am getting ready to hit the road
to Vegas for this years annual MR.OLYMPIA at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
I am planning to bring you guys the latest updates and pictures from the event captured
with my digi-cam.
Most of my friends (fellow Pro's) already agreed to give you guys the footage that you wont see
anywhere else...be there!!! - behind stage, pump room, hotel, etc.
All the pics will be posted in my Private Member section as soon as I get home from the event.

I AM BACK!
(the battle continues..)
So I decided to take a break for a couple of months.
Guess what? - The battle continues! - I am recovered and ready to take on
the BIG ONE! (MR.O)
I have planned to return to my old style of training as of next week. Just plain old
HEAVY DUTY style training - go heavy or go home!
Of course I need to qualify first thru the NIght of the Champions again. This time
J.P. will Rule!
